New Music: ‘Three Ring Circus’, Balsamo Collins Riley

Hoop-la! The circus is back in town, as Swansea-Liverpool trio Balsamo Collins Riley release their new single ‘Three Ring Circus’.

‘Three Ring Circus’ is the new single from Balsamo Collins Riley, a trio comprised of Welsh singer-songwriters Steve Balsamo and Andy Collins, and Liverpool’s own Pete Riley in a meeting of three formidable musical minds.

As members of Welsh country-rock band The Storys, Steve and Andy toured the world as support for Elton John as well as support slots with Joe Cocker, Santana, Celine Dion and Van Morrison.

Meanwhile, Pete formed the band Treehouse in the mid ‘90s and toured America extensively with Hootie & The Blowfish and The Edwin McCain Band. He later joined Edwin’s band and remains a member to this day.

With the recent release of ‘Three Ring Circus’, Steve shares his enthusiasm about working with longtime friend and ex-The Storys bandmate Andy, and new collaborator Pete, describing a deep connection between them.

“I absolutely love working with Andy and Pete,” Steve says.

“I’ve known Andy for over 30 years, dating back to The Storys era, and although I’ve known Pete for a shorter time, it feels much longer because of how well we all connect – both personally and musically. There’s a true sympatico in the music we create together. We share the same influences and tastes, and it really shines
