They don’t come much bigger than Whitney Houston..

In November 1988 as the front man of his Brisbane based band “Two Can Play” MADCAP’S Managing Director Stephen Morris got to share the same stage as the late great “Whitney Houston”. We were originally due to open for Whitney & Frank Sinatra a few months earlier for the official opening of  “Sanctuary Cove” however we were scratched from the bill due to heavy rain Stephen recalls…it was a huge disappointment at the time however disappointment turned to joy a few month later we found ourselves opening for her in Brisbane during the Australian leg of her “Moment of Truth” World tour.

It turned out to be a very special night after performing with M’s Houston at Brisbane’s Entertainment Centre we found ourselves centre stage in Brisbane’s night club hot spot Fortitude Valley performing at the”Roxy” with “Underworld” who were touring Australia to promote their chart topping hit “Underneath the Radar”.
