New Music: ‘Doom Beats Boom’ Hoskins Phenomenon (ft. 505 Collective)

It didn’t take long for the villainous dimension hopping entity known as Hoskins to strike again, this time targeting the creative heart of Hoskins Phenomenon.
During lockdown, members of Hoskins Phenomenon collaborated with Port Talbot based 505 Collective to produce a new track, ‘Doom Beats Boom’. It was a project designed to unite the local creative community and demonstrate the power of a network working towards a common goal.
This obviously displeased the ever-irksome Hoskins, who recently conspired with a dastardly distributor to have the track removed from streaming platforms in a nefarious plot against the band.
Hearing news of Hoskins’ unwelcome return, multiversal intelligence organisation Hoskins Phenomenon rallied to conjure a courageous counter manoeuvre to thwart the scheme.
‘Doom Beats Boom’ has been cleverly re-released under the Hoskins Phenomenon ft. 505 Collective moniker and is now available for sale and streaming on various platforms.
‘Doom Beats Boom’ features Phil Vat and Nik Voisey from Hoskins Phenomenon alongside Dean Lawrence, DJ Doom aka Glyn Radford and his partner DJ Mars. It’s a boisterous, upbeat mix of indie, beats, and brass funk the likes of which Hoskins can’t bear to hear. It’s little wonder he tried to have it subdued and restrained in digital prison.
The liberation and restoration of this audio gem is just another example of the ways in which Hoskins Phenomenon works to keep the threat of Hoskins at bay, making the multiverse safe once more.
At least for now. Surely, Hoskins is out there somewhere, unvanquished and plotting yet another round of salacious skullduggeries. So, stay tuned for more communications as Hoskins Phenomenon remain ever vigilant, awaiting his imminent return.
