There will be no more wasted years when Iron Maiden return to Australia in September 2024 with their ‘The Future Past’ tour.
‘The Future Past’ tour will be Iron Maiden’s first visit to Australia since ‘The Book Of Souls’ tour in 2016 [read a review of the Brisbane show here] and promises to be their most spectacular stage production yet.
Iron Maiden bring ‘The Future Past’ to Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney, supported on all shows by Killswitch Engage.
This tour brings together the modern and classic eras of Iron Maiden, featuring songs from 2021 album ‘Senjutsu’ and 1986’s ‘Somewhere In Time’, the latter having rarely been performed live in the band’s long history.
“We’ve really enjoyed playing all the shows on THE FUTURE PAST TOUR this year, and the reaction from our fans has been incredible,” bassist Steve Harris says.
“Being able to play some of these songs for the very first time has made the tour even more memorable, and we can’t wait to continue it next year.
“We’re all really excited to finally be able to return to Australia as we know our fans have waited so patiently for us over the past few years. It’s going to be great to get back there, especially with this new show. We promise you all, it’ll be worth the wait!”
