Coheed & Cambria Headline Monolith Festival 2024
Monolith Festival returns in November, headlined by New York prog-punk heroes Coheed & Cambria.
In their first Australian tour since 2016, Coheed & Cambria present a Neverender set, performing their critically acclaimed third album ‘Good Apollo, I’m Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through Madness’ in its entirety.
Monolith Festival 2024 also features Washington DC’s Periphery, innovative Norwegian outfit Leprous, Canadian instrumental group Intervals, French metalcore five-piece Novelists and Melbourne’s Silver Fang.
In addition to electrifying performances, fans will be treated to unique experiences, including a Q&A panel: ‘Celebrating 20 years of ‘The Amory Wars’: The past, present and future’ with Claudio Sanchez (Coheed & Cambria), guitar and drum workshops with Periphery, Keyan and David Parkes and much more. It’s one day of prog metal glory with one stage and no clashes.
‘Good Apollo, I’m Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through Madness’ is the third instalment in Coheed & Cambria’s ‘The Amory Wars’, an expansive sci-fi saga created by frontman Claudio Sanchez. The albums are accompanied by a series of comics and graphic novels that elaborate on the story told in the lyrics.
Widely regarded as one of their most impactful records, ‘Good Apollo, Volume One’ has sold over 1 million copies worldwide, showcasing their signature conceptual brilliance and musicality.
Monolith Festival debuted in 2022 to raging success and high acclaim from industry pundits. Alongside the incredible lineup will be workshops, panels, market stalls and DJ’s to further enhance the festival experience for Australian prog fans.
