Lenny Kravitz Brings ‘Blue Electric Light’ Tour To Australia

Ripped rock god Lenny Kravitz has announced his first Australian tour in 13 years, bringing his ‘Blue Electric Light’ shows to our shores in November.
Lenny Kravitz will perform at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena, Newcastle Entertainment Centre, Brisbane Entertainment Centre and Melbourne’s John Cain Arena.
He will also play a special outdoor event at the Mildura Sporting Precinct before closing out the tour with a special headlining performance as part of the Saturday night entertainment line-up at this year’s bp Adelaide Grand Final supercars event.
“We’re mixing all the different songs from different years and putting them together to have a celebration of the music, of the message of us all being in this together … the music is just as much theirs as it is mine,” Kravitz says.
The tour is in support of his latest and 12th studio album, ‘Blue Electric Light’, which was released in 2024 and preceded by lead single ‘TK421’ in 2023. At 61, Lenny Kravitz is still turning heads, with posts on social media highlighting his shredded physique courtesy of an intense fitness regime.
Though younger generations may recognise him as Cinna in ‘The Hunger Games’ film franchise, Lenny Kravitz has maintained a consistent creative presence and output since the release of his debut album ‘Let Love Rule’ in 1989.
Lenny Kravitz scored hit singles throughout the ‘90s, including ‘It Ain’t Over ‘til It’s Over’ (1991), ‘Always on the Run’ (1991), ‘Are You Gonna Go My Way’ (1993), ‘Fly Away’ (1998), and a cover of ‘American Woman’ (1999), which appeared on the soundtrack for the film ‘Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me’.
Kravitz’s unexpected detour to Mildura in regional Victoria is hoped to reinvigorate the town’s struggling tourism industry. His performance is expected to attract up to 15,000 fans from across Australia, injecting millions of dollars into the local economy.
