BIGSOUND 2025 First Speaker Lineup
The first round of speakers and buyers has been announced for BIGSOUND 2025, the Southern Hemisphere’s premier gathering of music industry professionals and emerging artists.
The annual BIGSOUND conference and showcase attracts industry power players from all over the world, this year with the shared vision to create connection that counts coupled with a focus on driving export success.
The first BIGSOUND 2025 announcement welcomes a cohort of international agents and promoters actively investing in Australian talent. Agents from One Finnix Live, Ground Control, Wasserman, and CAA join promoters from C2C Festival (Country to Country), Reading and Leeds Festival, Eat Your Own Ears, and Communion One along with indie record labels Secretly Group, Nettwerk Music Group, Third Man Records and Believe.
The first round of speakers for BIGSOUND 2025 include: Darcus Beese OBE, the first Black President of a UK major label, Island Records UK; artist/advertising and film music supervisor Anne Booty; Ariana Morgenstern, the Executive Producer and Music Curator at KCRW; and Deb Grant, a Dublin-born DJ, broadcaster and writer who now lives and works in Manchester.
BIGSOUND 2025 takes place in Fortitude Valley (Brisbane), 2-5 September.
